Once upon a time, there was a Gemini, whose name was Jingying Li

Several gems were discovered recently to have more brilliance and fire than Diamond. Yet, Diamond is still the hardest rock on this planet.

Two Parties In A Row

My Korean Argentinean roommate had a Birthday party last Friday, and my coworker had another B'day party this Friday. I went to both! Normally I would get bored and overwhelmed at parties, because I wasn't comfortable meeting a lot of strangers at one time. Surprisingly, both parties were really fun, I had two great times! And meet a lot interesting new friends!

I used to be a really really shy person, barely talk to anybody. It got better over the years. I became more outgoing and talk more, but still was nervous in front of ppl I just met, and can't think of anything to talk about when I was nervous. Most of my friends don't know this, because I don't feel nervous talking to people I already know or my friends.

However, recently things have changed without me realizing it. I no longer feel nervous and uncomfortable talking to people I just met. I took me 10 years to reach where I am now, and it just happened I don't even know how. All the shyness, nervousness, psychological stress is all gone! I am so happy now. :-)

Isn't North Dakota the Most Conservative State or What!

Check this post on CNN!
http://www.cnn.com/2007/US/01/18/dakota.cohabit.ap/index.html

If they believe cohabitation is a crime, which it is by North Dakota law, then enforce the law by arresting everyone who does this right now. Don't just pick on somebody and let somebody go.

If they can't make enforcing this law possible, because there are not enough prisons, then get rid of this obsolete and radiculous law! That's not fair for ppl who are effected by this law, when so many others are not. A law supposes to have equal effect on everyone who obeys or disobeys it.

Personally, I don't have any problem with unmarried couple living together. This is a very personal matter, just like some choose to have sex before got married while some want to wait.

As long as it is consensual and neither party is married to someone else, I don't approve cheating, people suppose to have the freedom to choose who they want to live with, even if they are not married.

No wonder North Dakota economy is so bad, because the state is too conservative.

Wine Tasting Meetup

I went to a wine tasting meeting organized by Bacchus Society Wine Club ( http://bacchussociety.com/wineclub/) last night and it was a blast!

We evaluated 7 wine from South France. My favorite was a dessert wine: Domaine de Rancy. It's phenomenal!

It was a great group of ppl, i had such good time, 3 hours flew by. The venue is perfect for the event too. Bourgedy Room is a 4-star restaurant specilizing in Tapas.
I tried some France Cheeses, mushroom bisque, lamb domathes (more like spanakopita rather than stuffed grape leave) and duck breasts. The duck breasts were delicious, so tender but not greesy. :-) There Tarimasu is delicious too! best dessert ever invented by the Italian. I shared it with a member at the wine club, and he offered to pay for the desserted later. :-P

Later, one of the member brought another France wine to share with us.
After the meeting was over, two of my new friends that i just met there bought me a bottle of Riesling produced in Germany to share among 3 of us.

Not only we taste wines at this meetup, the organizers also gave persentation about how each wine was made, how grapes grow, and background information of each wine producer. The event was very fun and informative as well. :-)

I definately want to go to their next meetup! :-)
